Focused on Financial Markets, Fixed-Income/Credit, Emerging-Tech, Business Development, Systems Programming, and Professional Growth.
Looking to work in operations supporting a sales/trading desk or credit issuance team. I have good people skills and attention to detail. I am an effective inter-departmental communicator in a fast-moving environment, translating domain jargon between teams easily. I have prepared for stepping into this role by practicing system admin, error-handling/debugging, and having a solid understanding of financial fundamentals.
Born and raised in Montana with a tough as nails work ethic.
Bachelor of Fine Arts from University of Montana.
Emphasis in Fine Art Studio Practice, Technological History of Photography, Art Criticism, and Music Minor as a composer and multi-instrumentalist.
Intellectual extracurriculars included quantum mechanics, business, culinary arts, farming, community-building, event planning, mountain biking, traveling, modeling, swimming and reading.
During this time I learned to learn. Never afraid of following my interests, I would dedicate myself to thoroughly research any topic I encountered. As a result of this fearless pursuit of knowledge and experience; I possess a unique, varied, and well-connected mental model for understanding and explaining numerous aspects of finance, economics, society, politics, science, technology, art, and literature.

New York City is my forever home now. I enjoy meeting diverse people and being exposed to different ideas and cultures. I love the hustle and bustle of the city life and am continually inspired by the people I meet in NYC. Never feeling fully at home in Montana, always craving more activity, I knew I belonged in NYC the first moment I stepped off the subway platform.

Working for several years in fine wine and restaurants from sales, service, and operational roles I always strove to provide the best client experience, drive revenue, increase profit margins, and earn a handsome gratuity. I surrounded myself with thought-leaders in the industry, never afraid to voice my opinion, and always pursued excellence through constant improvement. Restaurant resume accolades included multiple Michelin Stars, Forbes 4-Star, James Beard Award, and 50-Best #1 Cocktail Bar Award.

This disparate background is becoming unified through my ongoing study of Finance. Through the lens of Finance I can see value and connections between the disparate knowledge and experience I've accumulated over the years. I can quickly understand different industries and emerging trends. I am able to connect and communicate with people from different backgrounds. I am able to read between the lines of financial, business, and legal statements and understand the real economic phenomena they are meant to describe or obfuscate. I look forward to beginning a long career working in Financial Services where I have the ability to generate a positive impact for my firm, family, communities, my country, and our world.
